General Questions

Please reach us at info@littluniverse.ca if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Summer, Winter, and Spring camps follow a similar format. Camp Days are 9AM - 4PM (Mon to Fri with the exception of Holidays). Pro-D sessions are one day camps (9AM - 4 PM) and are an excellent way to get a feel for our camps. Weekly programs run on a semester schedule and last for approximately three months. Weekly programs are offered from January to March, April to June, and September to December.

Yes, we do! Make your child's birthday a day that will live forever in their LEGO hearts!! We currently offer three different LEGO Robotic Themed birthday packages. Please refer to the 'Birthdays' tab on our website for further details and to book your Birthday with us!

Campers need to bring a water bottle, nut-free lunch and snacks. Other essentials include weather-appropriate clothing (i.e. hat, closed-toe shoes), sunscreen (if applicable).

Visit our 'Programs' page for information on the different LEGO Robotics kits!

Visit our 'Programs' page for information on the different game design software we use!

We run programs for ages 6 - 14. Often camps will be split into ages 6 - 9 and 9 - 14.  Exceptions are made for children turning 6 on a case by case basis,

LEGO is expensive! As a result, participants do not get to take home their LEGO Robotics creations; these are for the in-class experience only . However, during our camps participants take home some of their science projects.

They do not! We offer a variety of beginner courses throughout the year.

It depends! During our weekly game design and Minecraft modding sessions participants spend 1.5 hours a session behind a laptop, whereas in our weekly LEGO Robotics sessions (usually 1.5 hours in length) participants can spend anywhere from approximately 30 minutes to an hour behind a tablet (LEGO instructions and programming is done via the tablet).

Registration Questions

To register please navigate to the registration page on the website and complete the online registration form through the recreation site. Payment can be made online or in-person.

At the moment discounts are not offered. However, if one of our programs is cancelled (i.e. low enrollment, lack of staff) we sometimes offer those participants a discount to a future program with us. Check your email in those cases!

It depends! Registration stays open throughout our LEGO Robotics/Minecraft Modding camps and classes. However, late registration is usually not accepted for our Game Design camps and classes as each session builds on the previous.

Yes! Don't get discouraged if the program/camp you're interested in is full! Often times we open up some late spots. Plans also change for families and they cancel leading to those on the waitlist getting contacted.

It depends on the rec centre! Be sure to look at the cancellation policy for our programs when registering your child. Our programs will sometimes have a different cancellation policy compared to the other programs at the rec centre.

Refunds are not provided once the program has started. Exceptions may be made for compassionate and medical reasons. Proof of medical or compassionate reason may be required.

It depends! If there is space in another one of our camps/programs and our instructors agree that it would be a better fit, we can accommodate a switch. This is handled on a case by case basis.
